What is a Class Parent Liaison (CPL)?
A parent or guardian who volunteers to help out in their child's homeroom class to support the teacher and GWES PTA. CPLs help with classroom events and facilitate communication between the teacher, the other parents in the class, and the GWES PTA. AKA a Room Parent.

What specifically does a CPL do throughout the year?
- Plan and recruit volunteers for PTA events, classroom parties, projects, field trips, and other events
- Coordinate birthday, holiday, and/or teacher appreciation teacher gifts from the class (group-funded)
- Assist PTA with Teacher Appreciation Week and other activities
- Support the homeroom teacher as needed
- Build community
